Carpal tunnel syndrome makes it impossible to close the fingers fully. There may be numbness, prickling or tingling affecting the palmar side of the thumb and index finger, the radial side of the ring finger, and the radial side of the palm. These symptoms may also radiate into the arm. Carpal tunnel syndrome is a specific symptom of vitamin B-6 deficiency.
